HTML Dictionary for Text Based Spell Checkers

What is it?
This is a dictionary that adds an extra feature to your Spell Checker. It allows you to spell check your html documents using and spell checker that can import text documents. It has an extensive amount of web based terms such as Java, Java Script, JScript, Layers, Cascading Style Sheets, Dynamic HTML and a few others.

How do I install it? (This is for Word 97. For others please email me. I will be updating this soon)
Step 1: Uncompress this file. If you are reading this then you most likely did this already.

Step 2: Perform a search for the file 'Custom.dic' If you did a standard install with all the default setting it should be located in c:/Program Files/Office

Step 3: Place theWeb.dic file in the same directory as the file 'Custom.dic'

	Step 4: Open Word

Step 5: In word go to the menu Tools and select options.

Step 6: Click on the tab labeled 'Spelling & Grammar'

Step 7: Click on the button labeled Dictionary.

	Step 8: Press Add

Step 9: Go to the directory that has the Web.dic file that you just placed and then press OK.

Step 10: Make sure that the file has a check mark in the check box then press OK.

Step 11: Make sure that there isn't a check mark in the one labeled 'Suggest from the main dictionary only.'

	Step 12: Press ok.

That is all. Now you can check to see if it works by loading the Testfile.html included with this. It should find a few errors in this file. If you check it and the errors get corrected then it worked. If you have any problems or concerns please email SP extreme at paulin@spextreme.com
